Is the Half-Duplex only limitation still in effect in the latest version? When will you implement full duplex? Perhaps you should reach out to the iSkoot folks; see how they used to do it? Or was theirs half-duplex as well(?), I cant recall.

That brings me to a question: are the calls made through IM+Talk truly VoIP (go via the data plan), or does the App dial some sort of gateway number and the call goes via the voice channel?

Also: is this a Skype only App? Or does it include all other chat features of IM+?

Hi,

Yes, latest version of IM+ Talk application uses half-duplex mode.
We do not plan to change this currently.

All data is transferred via your internet connection (BIS/BES or wi-fi). There is no gateway number that application
uses to pass the call through. Your voice (call) plan is not used unless you use a callback feature of IM+ Talk application.
