Need version update Release date

Dear shapeservice,

you seems not too serius developing im+ for windows platform,
i following you on tweeter..you was always updating iphone and blackberry platform..but only give your promise for windows platform update.

when you will release the next version for windows platform? i need a fix date and your commitment to your buyer not promise.

Hey, I'm not in anyway related to shapeservices but my guess from when I've been asking them the same question is soon or to expect it shortly, I know many people around the windows mobile community and we to have some what discussions about this, on my guess it should be this up coming week or 2 more weeks perhaps? Its best we let them take there time to work out any bugs they might have ran into while trying to get the go from the testing team. I would rather much have a working application than a half working / broke one :P Good work shapeservices!

The version for Windows Mobile is currently being tested and should be released shortly.
The average time between releases is more or less same for IM+ for WM, iPhone and BlackBerry.

so you think the 7.02 version for winmo is perfect? it make my and my wife phone hung sometimes and i must restart my phone to fix that very anoying...now i only use im+ when i in sleep (push chat)

I do not think its perfect at the moment but the test fix cab sure is much better and the new version coming out just might be better and waiting for it is a risk I'm willing to take because Palringo isn't perfect as well.

Well it may be free at what cost? no push? no skype chat? no myspace chat? no avatars...? just wait till the update and I'm sure you won't be disappointed, coding for applications is fun you know nor is fixing bugs correctly if you don't know what is causing it, I'm not here to try and convert you to anything all I'm saying is patience is needed, i do too use palringo at the moment while new IM+ update is released and my new windows mobile phone gets here as well, also you are forgetting IM+ has many OS to work on and many other applications just wait for the update which will be here shortly according to the admins.

I bought IM+ and make my phone crash...so thats a huge different.

I am not donating here..i am paying for 2 license ..soo..no excuse for shapeservice..i just want a good support for windows mobile platform.. i paid 3 times more than iphone prize for license..

Well since you proclaim you bought IM+ just wait it out since according to shapeservices we will be getting an update. I've paid for IM+ and it doesn't seem to "crash" on me.The only serious issue is the keyboard lag and that is about it. what exactly happens to you when it crashes? what features are you using? what phone do you have? I'm coming from a htc touch diamond (currently waiting for my touch pro2).I just have to say sure palringo is free but you get what you pay for and shapeservices does offer 7 day's free, perhaps you should have taken those 7 days before you paid for two IM+ licenses and note I'm not a fan boy lol just trying to back up my opinion.

if any devs see this.... any news on if the testing is going out good so far? enlighten us to give us hope on the waiting. if I'm right i remember seeing we would get text to speech feature,also skype chat support? I bought my IM+ license over a year ago. Crashing didn't affect me then. When it started, I thought it was my Tilt since it was getting old and buggy anyway. I had the romeos rom on my phone then as well. I received my Tilt 2/Touch Pro 2 about a month ago, AT&T's rom, and I'm still encountering IM+ crashing and completely freezing up my phone. We're talking a good 5 to 10 times a day I'm having to pop the back off my phone and hit the reset button. I also had the lag issue, I emailed IM+, sent in logs, etc., got the fixed .cab pretty quickly. So my feelings mixed. Every problem up until now has been addressed pretty quickly and I'm very grateful for that. I prefer IM+ to any other WM messenger, but resetting my phone all the time has really been getting on my nerves lately. I just wish we could get an update for this already, right now I'm using Beejive because three times in a row, opening up and connecting has frozen my phone completely. It just gets exhausting.
